Dr. David Agor (he/him) is a distinguished psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with advanced certifications in HIV Primary Care (HIVPCP) and Nutritional Psychiatry from Harvard Medical School. Following his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, he is advancing his expertise through Ph.D. studies at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Nursing, where his research examines mental health access and service delivery for sexual and gender-diverse forced migrants.

Drawing from nearly a decade of comprehensive clinical experience across emergency departments, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities, Dr. Agor brings extensive expertise to his practice. His ongoing roles as an educator and researcher ensure he remains at the forefront of mental health care innovations and evidence-based treatments.

As an openly gay Nigerian healthcare provider, Dr. Agor brings unique insight into how sociopolitical climates can intensify multilevel stigma for sexual and gender-diverse (SGD) populations, particularly those navigating intersecting challenges as asylum seekers or survival migrants. This personal perspective shapes his commitment to culturally congruent care.
